§ 132. Remedies; penalty

(a) If a vendor fails to remit as required under subsection (i) or (j) of section 131 of this title, the commissioner may bring an action under this section to recover the credit balance.

(b) The commissioner may bring an action for injunctive relief in superior court of the county in which the vendor is located, or in Washington superior court, to compel compliance with the provisions of section 131 of this title relating to submission of information related to credit balances.

(c) A person who violates a provision of section 131 of this title shall be fined not more than an amount equal to the total amount of the credit balances the vendor failed to report or remit. (Added 1989, No. 216 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. June 1, 1990.)
