§ 6905. Mandatory reporting to and post-mortem investigation of deaths by medical examiner

When a person making a report of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult has reasonable cause to believe that a vulnerable adult died as a result of abuse or neglect, the department shall notify the medical examiner immediately. (Added 1985, No. 78, § 5; 2001, No. 135 (Adj. Sess.), § 17, eff. June 13, 2002.)
