§ 7103. License

(a) A person shall not operate a nursing home, assisted living residence, home for the terminally ill, residential care home or therapeutic community residence without first obtaining a license.

(b) A person shall not operate a nursing home as defined in this chapter or as defined in chapter 46 of Title 18 except under the supervision of an administrator licensed in the manner provided in chapter 46 of Title 18.

(c) Residents of a home for the terminally ill shall receive necessary medical and nursing services, which may be provided through outside providers. (Amended 1959, No. 27, § 4; 1964, No. 6 (Sp. § 7103. License
