Chapter 10.--BONDS AND WARRANTS
Article 1.--GENERAL BOND LAW

      10-119.   Changing territory or disorganization of municipality;liability; tax levies.Whenever a part of the territory of any municipality has been detachedand attached to some other municipality, or whenever any municipality hasbeen disorganized according to law and the territory attached to orincluded in some other municipality or municipalities, such territory shallbe liable for the payment of all bonds issued or other indebtednessincurred by such municipality before such detachment or disorganization,and the proper taxing officers of the municipality to which such territoryis attached shall levy such taxes upon such attached territory as arenecessary to pay its proper proportion of the interest and principal ofsuch bonds or other indebtedness as aforesaid, and such officers may becompelled by mandamus at the instance of the holders of such bonds or otherindebtedness to levy such tax.
