10-205.   Joint bridge projects by counties, cities and townships; bids;plans and specifications; surety bond.If a majority of the votes cast at any election held pursuant to K.S.A. 10-204 favor theproposition submitted and the issuing of bonds, the officers ofsuch county, city or township, shall take sealed proposals for the buildingor repair of the bridge for a period of not more than 30 days ending at a date and timespecified by the officers.

      Proposals for the building or repair of any such bridge shall beaccompanied by complete plans and specifications; theprice to be charged, in cash; and a bond orundertaking, with good and sufficient security in double the amount ofthe proposed cost, conditioned on the faithful execution of thework proposed, and the performance of any contract made inreference thereto.
