10-813. Same; nonpayment of warrant for lack of funds tolls time period
for cancellation.
In case any warrant has been presented to the state treasurer prior
to the time the warrant
could be canceled pursuant to K.S.A. 10-811 and amendments thereto and
has been stamped "not
paid for want of funds," the time periods for cancellation
provided for in K.S.A. 10-811 and amendments thereto,
shall be tolled
until the warrants are called for payment by
the state treasurer.
