12-156.   Same; form of proposition; notice; expenses.The proposition to appear on the ballot shall be in substantially thefollowing form: "Shall the name of the city of __________, Kansas, bechanged to the city of __________, Kansas?" Notice of the election on the propositionshall be given by publication in the official city paper once each weekfor two consecutive weeks, the first publication to be not less than 21days prior to such election. Such notice shall specifythe proposition to be voted on, the voting place or places and the areaeach is to serve, and the time of opening and closing of the polls. Allexpenses connected with such election shall be paid from the generalfund of the city.
