12-1020.   Same; laws applicable; when act adopted.When any city operating under the mayor and council form of governmentshall adopt the provisions of this act such city shall be deemed to haveadopted the commission form of government as qualified by this act as wellas the provisions of this act, and such city shall thereafter be governedby the provisions of the laws relating to the government of the cities ofthe same class under the commission form of government as qualified by thisact: Provided, That the classification of any city may be changed inthe manner provided by law.
