12-1028a.   Appointment of treasurer in certain cities.Upon the appointment of the city manager after the adoption of the citymanager act as provided by K.S.A. 12-1021 to 12-1028, the city treasurer insuch cities of the second class shall be appointed by the city manager thesame as other appointive city officers, but elected city treasurers in suchcities serving at the effective date of this act shall continue to servefor the term for which elected.
