12-1036c.   Same; division of city into four districts, requirements;adjustments.Within thirty (30) days after the approval by the electors of a city ofa proposition to adopt the mayor-council-city manager form of government,the governing body of the city shall, by ordinance, divide the city intofour (4) districts to be numbered one through four. Said districts shall beas nearly equal in population and as compact and contiguous as ispractical. Dividing lines between districts shall follow precinctboundaries. Every eighth year thereafter in the month of January, thegoverning body of the city shall adjust district boundaries to reflectapproximately equal population.
