12-1036e.   Same; compensation of mayor and councilmen.In cities operating under the provisions of this act, the city governingbody shall fix by ordinance the compensation of the mayor at not to exceedten thousand dollars ($10,000) per year, and the compensation of the citycouncilmen at not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000) per year.
