12-11a02.   Same; special law enforcement fund; use of proceeds from tax levy.All moneys derived from taxes levied under the authority of K.S.A.12-11a01, except for an amount to pay a portion of the principal and intereston bonds issued by such city under the authority of K.S.A. 12-1774, andamendments thereto, shall be placed in a special law enforcement fund and shall beused only for the purpose of providing additional law enforcementpersonnel and equipment for such county. The board of countycommissioners in its discretion may compensate the sheriff and countyattorney for additional duties resulting from such expanded lawenforcement program and such compensation shall be in addition to allother compensation and salaries now prescribed by law for such officers.
