Article 12.--LIBRARIES

     
12-1229.   Use of privately owned books or collections.
The library board of any library may authorize any circulating library,
reading matter or work of art belonging to private person, association or
corporation, or loaned by any library or public institution, to be
deposited in a library building, and to be drawn or used outside the
library building only on payment of such fee or membership as the owner may
require. Deposits of such material may be removed by the owner thereof at
pleasure, and such material when deposited in the library shall be
separately and distinctly marked and kept apart from similar material owned
by the library, but all such material while so deposited or remaining in
the library shall be subject to use without charge within the library by
any person who is entitled to the use of such library.
