12-1269.   Same; contracts with other municipalities for library services.The governing body of any municipality not maintaining alibrarymaycontract with the board for the furnishing of library service to suchmunicipality, and to pay the costs of such library service themunicipality is hereby authorized to levy a tax in the amount authorizedto be levied by such municipality for the establishment and maintenanceof a library and, in the case of cities and counties, to pay a portion ofthe principal and interest on bonds issued under the authority of K.S.A.12-1774, and amendments thereto, by cities located in the county.
