12-1418.   Same; trustee for funds; nonliability.Any city or township is hereby authorized to act as trustee for fundsplaced in trust to be used in improving, maintaining and caring for thelots, graves, monuments, vaults or other cemetery property of cemeterystockholders or lot owners and shall, from time to time, appropriate suchfunds and the income therefrom, if any, to the board of directors ortrustees of such association or company, for the purpose and according tothe terms mentioned in the deed in trust, to be used by such board for thepurposes of the trust: Provided, That the city or township shall notbe held liable for the misuse of such funds by the said board.
