12-1419.   Same; records; deeds in trust.The city clerk, or the township clerk, shall keep suitable records ofthe proceedings of the council or township board in reference to thecarrying out of the provisions of this act. He or she shall also recordtherein the deeds in trust for trust funds, the approval of the same, andthe receipt of the city or township treasurer for the funds, and suchrecords shall be provided for and kept as other records of the city ortownship. The deeds in trust may be returned to the makers after endorsingon the back thereof the clerk's certificate of record showing the book,page and date of record of the same.
