12-1429.   Same; conditions; notice to nonresidents.Whenever it is determined by the return of the sheriff of thecounty in which the cemetery is located that the owner or owners of oneor more lots subject to K.S.A. 12-1428 are not residents of the county andcannot be foundtherein, the governing body may causethe notice required by K.S.A. 12-1428 to be publishedonce in the official county newspaper andshall cause a copy of such notice to be served on the owner or ownersthereof by registered mail addressed to their last known address. Thenotice shall specify a time for paymentnot less than 30 days afterthe completed service of such notice by publication thereof.
