12-1503.   Board of examiners; composition; appointment; compensation.There may be established in every city aboard of examiners of plumbers consisting of three members, one of whomshall be a member of the health department of the city, who shall be exofficio chairperson of the board of examiners; a secondmember, who shall be amaster plumber; and a third member, who shall be a journeyman plumber. Thesecond and third members shall be appointed by the mayor and approved bythe governing body of the city, and may bepaid from the general fund of the city, in such amountas the governing body of the city may designate.
