12-1525.   Competency of electricians for licensure;designation of standard examinations.Standard examinations for the determination of competency of electricalcontractors, master and journeyman electricians and residential electricians,as promulgated or administered, or both, by the international code council(ICC), the international association of plumbing and mechanical officials(IAPMO) or Prometric, a current subsidiary of educational testing servicesin effect on July 1, 2008,are hereby designated as the standard examinationsfor determining the qualification of persons seeking licensure aselectrical contractors, master and journeyman electricians and residentialelectricians for the purposes of this act.
