12-1541.   Competency of mechanical heating,ventilation and air conditioning contractors, masters and journeymen;designation of standard examinations.Standard examinations for the determination of competency ofmechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors andmaster and journeyman heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanics,as promulgated or administered, or both, by the international code council(ICC), the international association of plumbing and mechanical officials(IAPMO) or Prometric, a current subsidiary of educational testing servicesin effect on July 1, 2008,are herebydesignated as the standard examinations for determiningthe qualification of persons seeking licensure asmechanical heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors andmaster and journeyman heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanics,for the purposes of this act.
