12-1613. Property of dormant cities.Whenever the municipal organization of any city has become dormant byresignation or vacation of all city offices therein, it shall be the dutyof the township board of the township where such city is located to takecharge of all the property of the city and hold the same in trust for thecity; and the township board shall have the same power and like authorityto do all acts for and in behalf of such dormant city, and in the samemanner as the township board is empowered to do for the township which itrepresents.
