12-1617a.   Delegates to firemen's association and school.The governing body of any Kansas municipality is hereby authorized todetermine the number of delegates to be sent by its fire department to theannual meetings of the Kansas State Firemen's Association and to afiremen's school to be held annually under the direction of Kansasuniversity and such association, and to pay the necessary expenses of suchdesignated delegates to such annual meeting and to such school, suchexpenses to be paid in the discretion of such governing body from eitherthe general fund or fire department fund or water department fund of suchmunicipality.
