12-1654.   Oil and gas leases; moneys to general fund.The governing body of any city of the second or third class is herebyauthorized and empowered to lease any lands owned by such city which arelocated outside the corporate limits of such city for drilling for oil andgas, upon such terms as may be agreed upon. All moneys arising from suchlease or the production of oil and gas shall become a part of the generalfund of such city.
