12-1658.   Historical collections; housing and display.The governing body of any city of any class may provide for thecollection of records, documents and any other papers or articles of anynature of historical value or interest and may establish, maintain, displayand provide housing for within the city hall, city library, or elsewhere,an historical collection of the records, documents and other papers orarticles so collected in such manner as such governing body may deemsuitable and proper.
