12-1658. Historical collections; housing and display.
The governing body of any city of any class may provide for the
collection of records, documents and any other papers or articles of any
nature of historical value or interest and may establish, maintain, display
and provide housing for within the city hall, city library, or elsewhere,
an historical collection of the records, documents and other papers or
articles so collected in such manner as such governing body may deem
suitable and proper.
