12-1682.   Establishment of operation independently or in cooperation;limitation; delegation of operation to board.Any city or school district may establish or operate a communityhistorical museum independently or may cooperate in its establishment andin its operation in any manner mutually agreed upon, or may delegate theoperation of the system to a museum board created by either or both ofthem: Provided, however, No community museum shall be established oroperated by both the city and school district each acting independently ofthe other which are located all or in part in the same county.
