12-1690.   Same; supervisor and curator; appointment and compensation;duties.Any community museum board may appoint and fix the compensation of asupervisor or curator for the community historical museum. Said supervisoror curator shall have charge of the care, maintenance, supervision,establishment of the museum, its displays, historical collections and suchother duties in connection therewith as said board may require. If there isan incorporated museum or an incorporated historical or similar societywithin the community, such society may be designated by said board as thesupervisor or curator of said museum and said board may provide to thesociety such compensation, funds or reimbursements for establishing,operating, maintaining and caring for the museum and its collections ordisplays as shall be agreed upon by the board and the society.
