12-16,107.   Same; enforcement of subpoenas.In case of the refusal of any person to comply with anysubpoena issued by a local human relations commission, or to testify to anymatter regarding which such person may be lawfully questioned the districtcourt of any county may, upon application of the local human relationscommission, order such person to comply with such subpoena and to testifyto the extent such person could be so compelled pursuant to the provisionsof subsection (5) of K.S.A. 44-1004, and amendments thereto, of the Kansasact against discrimination. Failure to obey the court's order shall bepunishable by the court as contempt.
