12-1740a.   Use of eminent domain power.No city or county shall exercise its power of eminent domain to acquireproperty as a site for a facility which is to be financed by revenue bondsissued pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1740 et seq., and amendments thereto. Nothingin this section shall be construed to prohibit a city from issuing revenuebonds for the purpose of paying all or a part of the cost of constructing,reconstructing, improving, equipping, furnishing, repairing, enlarging orremodeling facilitieslocated on property acquired by the exercise of eminent domain under theprovisions of K.S.A. 12-1770 et seq., and amendments thereto.
