12-1764.   Acquisition of fee title to realty.The public building commission established under this act shall have thepower to acquire the fee simple title to real property, or a leasehold interestin real property located on the campus of any state university, includingcampus property as defined in subsection (c) of K.S.A. 76-3a01 and amendmentsthereto, including easementsand reversionary interests in the streets, alleys and other public placesand personal property required for its purposes, by purchase, gift, deviseor by the exercise of the power of eminent domain of the state and titlethereto shall be taken in the corporate name of the commission.
