12-17,163.   City or county may designate building ashistoric theater.The governing body of any city or county may designate abuilding within such municipality to be an historic theater if the governingbody of the municipality and the secretary of commerce agree that the buildingsatisfies the requirements of subsection (h) ofK.S.A. 2009 Supp.12-17,162,and amendmentsthereto, and will contribute significantly to the economic development of thecity and surrounding area or the county.
