12-2026.   Video competition act; state corporationcommission powers and duties relating to costs and fees.(a) The state corporation commission shall:

      (1)   Assess the costs of any proceeding before the commission pursuant tothis act againstthe parties to the proceeding; and

      (2)   establish and collect fees from entities and persons filing applicationswith the statecorporation commission for state-issued video service authorizations, whichfees shall be inamounts sufficient to pay the costs of administration of this act, includingcosts of personnel.

      (b)   The state corporation commission shall remit all moneys received by thecommission pursuant to this section to the state treasurer in accordance withthe provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of theremittance, the state treasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the statetreasury and credit it to the public service regulation fund.
