12-3012.   Amendment of standard, code or ordinance by sponsor afterincorporation by references; effect.The amendment of any standard or model code or ordinance or thepublication of any new and revised such code or ordinance by the agency,organization, or group sponsoring the same shall in no wise affect theincorporating ordinance or the code or ordinance but such ordinance and thecode or ordinance as incorporated shall continue in effect until theincorporating ordinance is repealed or a later standard or model code orordinance is incorporated by reference. Any statute or section thereof orany state regulation or portion thereof which has been incorporated byreference and which is amended by the legislature or changed by the stateofficer, board or agency, shall cease to be effective until and unlessincorporated by amendment of the incorporating ordinance or anotherincorporating ordinance.
