12-3911.   Same; districts or departments; initiation of procedure.Upon the request of the governing body of two or more firedistricts or departments, the board of county commissioners of any county, byresolution, may provide for the consolidation of fire districts and may includewithin the newly created district any area not currently being provided fireprotection.
