12-403. Recordation of plat; certificate of approval.
The map or plat so made, acknowledged and certified shall be filed and
recorded in the office of the register of deeds and a copy thereof filed
with the county clerk of the county in which the city or addition is
situated: Provided, however, That said register of deeds is hereby
prohibited from filing and recording such map or plat unless the same shall
have attached thereto a certificate in due form showing the approval of
said map or plat by the county attorney in case of a town or city or by the
governing body in case of a proposed addition to any city of the second or
third class or any town.
