Chapter 12.--CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES

Article 44.--CODE FOR MUNICIPAL COURTS; PROCEEDINGS AFTER ARREST AND PRIOR TO TRIAL

     
12-4401.   Matters before trial.
Every person charged with violation of an ordinance shall receive a copy
of the complaint, and shall not be required to plead until he or she shall
have had a reasonable time to examine the same, to obtain counsel and to
determine his or her plea.
