Chapter 12.--CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES

Article 49.--HOMES FOR AGED

     
12-4901.   Homes for aged; definitions.
As used in this act: (a) "City" means any incorporated city in the state
of Kansas;

     
(b)   "home for the aged" means a building or buildings and the
appurtenances to be used as a home for aged persons, and such other persons
as the governing body of the city shall direct and shall include adult care
homes;

     
(c)   "adult care home" shall have the meaning ascribed thereto under
K.S.A. 39-923 and amendments thereto;

     
(d)   "person" means an individual, corporation, association,
partnership or any organization.
