Chapter 12.--CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES
Article 5.--ADDITIONS, VACATION AND LOT FRONTAGE

      12-512b.   Vacation of plats and other public reservations; recordingplat or replat; reversion.In any area where there is a planning commission which has adoptedsubdivision regulations governing the platting or replatting of land, andthe regulations provide for the giving of appropriate notice to allpersons having property rights or interests affected by the platting orreplatting, any plat or part thereof or street, alley or other publicreservation, including, without limitation, easements, dedicated buildingsetback lines, and access control, whether established by instrument,condemnation or earlier plats, shall be vacated both as to use and asto title without any further proceedings upon the filing and recording inaccordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 12-403, and amendments thereto,of any plat or replat dulyexecuted in accordance with law and embracing the same lands as thosetheretofore embraced by the earlier plat, or part thereof or street, alleyor other public reservation. Streets,alleys or other public reservations which may be vacated shall revert,as provided in K.S.A. 12-506, and amendments thereto.
