12-5606.   Acquisition of property.(a) Except as provided by subsection (c), theauthority shall have power to acquire by purchase,lease,gift orotherwise allor any part of real property, property, rights in property, for the purpose ofplanning,development and creation of a riverfront within the metropolitan area as hereindefined.

      (b)   Except as provided by subsection (c),the authority shall have power to acquire by purchase, lease, gift orotherwise anyproperty and rights useful for its purposes and to sell, lease, transfer orconvey anyproperty or rights when no longer useful or exchange the same for otherproperty orrights which are useful for its purposes.

      (c)   The authority shall not have the power to take property by eminentdomain.
