12-5806.   Same; acquisition of property.(a) Except as provided bysubsection (c), the authority shall have power toacquireby purchase, lease, gift or otherwise all or any part ofreal property,property, rights in property, water rights and riparian rights for thepurposeof planning, development and creation of ariverfront withinthe metropolitanarea as herein defined.

      (b)   Except as provided by subsection (c), the authority shall havepower to acquire bypurchase, lease, gift or otherwise any property and rights useful for itspurposes and to sell, lease,transfer or convey any property or rights when no longer useful or exchange thesame for otherproperty or rights which are useful for its purposes.

      (c)   The authority shall not have the power to take property by eminentdomain.
