12-6a15.   Same; bond elections, when.The governing body of any city proposing to issue general obligationbonds of the city for payment of any portion of the costs of anyimprovement authorized by this act may by resolution submit the question ofissuing such bonds at a general or special election called for thatpurpose, and if such election be called, no such bonds shall be issueduntil and unless a majority of the electors voting on the proposition shallhave given their approval to the issuance of such bonds.
