12-622.   Same; sewers and drains outside city; eminent domain.The governing body of any such city shall have power and authority toconstruct and maintain sewers and drains, with the appurtenances thereof,from the corporate limits of the said city to a connection with any creek,ravine, or river within five miles thereof, and to build, extend, operateand maintain disposal works for the purification of sewage at any pointalong or near the line of such sewers or drains; and for this purpose theright of eminent domain is hereby granted to such cities.
