12-631v.   Same; condemn or purchase lands; consent.The governing body of any such city shall have the power to condemn oracquire by purchase lands for the construction of sewage-disposal plantsand lands or any easements therein or rights-of-way necessary for theconstruction and maintenance of sewers, drains, pumps and otherappurtenances provided herein: Provided, Any person through whoselands such sewers or drains may be constructed or upon whose lands suchdisposal works may be built, or who would be otherwise damaged, may giveconsent thereto in writing, and such writing, without formalacknowledgment, may be recorded in the office of the register of deeds ofthe proper county, and thenceforth the city shall have the same right toconstruct such works as though such lands have been formally condemned.
