12-762.   Same; existing planseffective until changed pursuant to this act.(a) Any comprehensive plan or part thereof, subdivision regulations, zoningregulations or building or setback lines adopted by the governing body orplanning commission of any city or county adopted prior to January 1, 1992,and which are consistent with the provisions of this act shall continue inforce and effect the same as though adopted under the provisions of this act,until the same is modified or a new comprehensive plan or part thereof,subdivision or zoning regulations or building or setback lines are adoptedas provided inthis act.

      (b)   Any comprehensive plan or part thereof, subdivision regulations,zoning regulations or building or setback lines adopted by a township zoningboardprior to January 1, 1992, shall continue in force and effect until the countyin which the township islocated, or the city if land in such township is annexed, adopts and places ineffect a plan or partthereof, subdivision or zoning regulations or building or setback linesaffecting land and buildings located within such township.Such regulations or building or setbacklines shall be enforced by the board of county commissioners.
