12-767.   Same; flood plain requirements; city building codes.The governing body of any city located in an area designatedasa flood plain shall not authorize, pursuant to its building codes, theconstruction, reconstruction or renovation of any building, facility orstructure which does not comply with the minimum requirements of the nationalflood insurance act of 1968, as amended, (42 U.S.C. §4001 et seq.) oranyrules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
