12-803c.   Same; bonds for extension of street-railway or bus system;election.If the governing body of any such city deems it necessary to acquire,enlarge, improve or extend any street-railway system or bus system, saidgoverning body is hereby empowered to issue for said purpose bonds in suchan amount as may be fixed by ordinance and authorized by a majority of theduly qualified electors voting in favor thereof at an election or electionshereafter called therefor, and said bonds shall be issued, sold, deliveredand retired in conformance with the provisions of the general bond law.
