12-820.   Acquisition of plants outside city.If any part or portion of the plant or property of any person, companyor corporation sought to be acquired by any city proceeding under theprovisions of this act be located outside the corporate limits andboundaries of said city, the said city may, nevertheless, proceed under thisact to acquire title to such part or portion of the said plant or propertyas may be located, and to hold and control the same as the property of thecity the same as though it was located within the corporate limits of saidcity, subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 66-104 and 66-131, and amendmentsthereto.
