12-825h.   Foreign-trade zones; establishment and operation; applicationfor federal grant.The governing body of any city, any authority organized and operatingunder the provisions of K.S.A. 27-315 to 27-326, inclusive, the board ofcounty commissioners of any county, a corporate instrumentality of thisstate and one or more states, or a bi-state compact, or a not-for-profitcorporation authorized to do business in this state shall have the power toapply singularly or jointly to the proper authorities of the United Statesgovernment for a grant, and when such grant is issued, to establish,operate and maintain foreign-trade zones pursuant to the foreign-trade zoneact of the United States, 19 U.S.C.A. 81a to 81u, inclusive, as amended.
