12-869.   Validation of proceedings and issuance of bonds for waterworksimprovements in certain cities of second class.Any city of the second class which has, pursuant to the provisions ofarticle 8 of chapter 12 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, and anyamendments thereto, authorized the issuance of general obligation bonds ofthe city for the making of waterworks improvements and held a bond electiontherefor prior to July 1, 1973, and a majority of the legal electors votingon the question voted in favor of the issuance of bonds in an amount not toexceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), is hereby authorized toissue such bonds notwithstanding the fact that insufficient time elapsed inthe giving of notice by publication concerning the holding of such electionunder the general bond law, and all proceedings thereunder and all bondsissued pursuant thereto are hereby validated and confirmed.
