13-10,124.   Same; contracts; equipment.The governing body of said city may contract for the making of suchrepairs or may purchase or otherwise acquire the necessary tools andmachinery to permit the city to make such repairs itself. In neither case,however, shall the cost of such repairs exceed the estimated cost thereofas provided in K.S.A. 13-10,123, nor shall the city be liable for any costexceeding such estimate.
