Article 13.--PARKS, PARKWAYS, BOULEVARDS AND PLAYGROUNDS

      13-1335.   Grants of property for parks; management.Real or personal property may be granted, bequeathed, devised andconveyed to the city for the purpose of the improvement or ornamentation ofparks, parkways, or boulevards, or for parks, or for the establishment ormaintenance, in any park, of museums, zoological or other gardens,collections of natural history, observatories, libraries, monuments ofworks of art, upon such trusts and conditions as may be prescribed by thegrantors or devisors thereof and agreed to by the board of parkcommissioners. All property so devised, granted, bequeathed, or conveyed,and the rents, issues, profits and income thereof, shall be subject to themanagement and control of said board of park commissioners.
